Meet The Lakeview Team
Director of Marketing
“For the last six years I've been fortunate enough to work with seniors and their families as they move across the continuum of care. My husband and I live in the small, southwest Michigan town we grew up in and we have a three year old son who keeps us very busy. In our spare time we spend a lot of time with our friends and family. When I happen to get a moment alone you'll find me huddled up with a good book."
Brook Miller, RN
Director of Resident Care
I am a RN and Graduated from KCC. I have a wonderful Husband and three beautiful sons. I love being a nurse and caring for people. I am so excited to be a part of the Ganton family. I loved these buildings every time I came in as the hospice nurse and wanted to join this wonderful community! I am thankful for this opportunity and happy to be here!
“I have over 30 years of experience with Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Rehab operations. Graduate of Ferris State University and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I live in Pennfield and raised three children with my husband of 38 years, and rescue Senior Weimaraners and Beagles. I love to spoil my 6 grandchildren and rescue pups, and spend as much time as possible in Florida.”
For the past 7 years I have worked for Lakeview Assisted Living and have always had a soft spot for the senior population. Prior to that I spent 25 years in the medical field. I have 2 grown daughters and 7 wonderful grandchildren that I spend as much time with as possible.
I also have 2 big fur babies at home that keep me quite busy.
“I have worked for the Ganton family for over 16 years, starting at the original Lansing location, which is where I live with my husband of 36 years. We have 2 adult children, one grandson, of course our big ole’ Great Pyrenees – Leila. In our spare time we enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, biking & reading. I love working for Ganton’s along with enjoying the residents & all my co-workers! "
Prior to joining the team here at Ganton I worked in a retirement community for ten years. I am the proud mother of two sons that keep me on my toes daily. I enjoy life and people and treasure time spent with those that are close to my heart.
Director of Maintenance
"I have worked with Scott Ganton and Ganton Senior Communities since 2014. I have worked in the field of Housing Maintenance for over 20 years and have finally found my passion in working with seniors. I am a huge University of Michigan Fan and love to spend time with my family and friends."
“I graduated from Battle Creek Central, attended KCC for 1 1/2 years for secretarial. My mother in-law was the dietitian at Docsa Home, I begged her to hire me and she did. That was the start of my cooking and baking career. In 2003 I applied at Heritage; I’ve been with the company for 15 years now--what a beautiful and enjoyable place it is. I have been married for 37 years, I have 3 amazing sons, and 6 wonderful grandchildren--3 boys and 3 girls. We built our home in the country where it's peaceful and quiet, except when we are having a mud bog, so much fun."
I joined the Ganton family and began overseeing Lakeview’s dietary department in May 2019. My passion for food service started as a junior high school student serving students lunch. I’m the proud mother to two very fine young men and the happy wife to Calvin. Together we share 5 grandchildren and 1 fur baby, Daisy May (dog). In our spare time you can find us in our park-like backyard situated on the Wabasscon Creek. I have a servants heart and love the elderly.
